What could be better than having a 2-hour delay on a Friday, made doubly special by the fact that it was our make-up Holiday party/movie day?  My alarm woke me up at 5:30 am, and my first sense was that of disappointment that I hadn't already been woken up by the sound of my phone vibrating to tell me that PWCS had a weather announcement.  I waited for about 15 minutes, then dejectedly got in the shower, resigned to a full day of work.  By the time I got out of the shower and was fully awake, my phone was vibrating all over the bathroom counter!  I got ready and made it to work by 8:00, giving me almost 3 full hours with no students.  I got my closet cleaned out and reorganized before the kids arrived.  Yeah!  I taught from 11-12, then we had pizza delivered.  I took the kids to Art for 1/2 hour, then we watched Santa Buddies until time for dismissal.  Not a bad start to the weekend at all!
