We started our travel day at 3:15 am yesterday. Our flight left at 6:25 out of Dulles, then we had 2 hours in Chicago (Midway), then on to Kansas City before landing in OK at 12:05. I don't know how I missed that second stop...what a surprise, to get on a plane, get up in the air, and hear that your next stop is NOT your final destination!
The kids were wonderful, and I'm so glad that I started traveling with them when they were so young. They definitely have the hang of it now!
I'm so happy to be with mom and daddy. Jess got in last night, and Allison may be in this afternoon. Tom, Manda, Kinsey, and Dave will arrive tomorrow, and Pat will be the last one in, sometime Friday evening. My luggage should arrive sometime today before noon, which would be WONDERFUL! Oh, well, stuff happens. I packed the kids' swimsuits and goggles in their carry ons and I had all medications, so we were set! I'd just love some of my own clothes....
